Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School we had the best day ever at 2026 Field Day! We laughed and enjoyed the sunshine ☀️! We could not have ordered a better day! Jefferson County Public Schools we are enjoying our last Best Days Ever! Memories were made! 💕💛💙🩵🦁

Today was not only Field Day but it was Dr. Stith’s day to Ring the 🔔 on her cancer journey. She has fought courageously this year while working with our students Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School so today we wore Pink in her honor. 💕Jefferson County Public Schools

Tonight we celebrated the 25-26 King Basketball Team at their annual banquet. Thank you to all the players, parents, staff and coaches for supporting the King Lions all season long! Special thanks to Mr.Julio Anthony, our FRC for organizing the event.

Today Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School our security better known as Mr. Steve and Mr. Bump tour students did something that was not only wonderful but will stick with these young men for a lifetime. They brought all the fifth grade boys down to the cafeteria where they had brand new ties laid on the tables. The boys were told to pick any tie they liked to wear to promotion or special event. Then these two men taught the boys step by step an easy way to tie a tie. The smiles and joy. Jefferson County Public Schools
