Leaders from Kindred Hospital Indianapolis and Kindred Hospital Indianapolis North got their workouts in over the weekend when they hiked up 47(!) flights of stairs of the Salesforce Tower in support of the American Lung Association in Indiana's Fight for Air Climb. The 2026 Indy climb has raised more than $236,000 to help the ALA's work to advance lung health. Kindred Hospitals, part of ScionHealth and leaders in respiratory care for medically complex patients, are proud to be the National Corporate Team Partner of the ALA's Fight for Air Climbs around the country.

The caregivers at Kindred Hospital Brea (Calif.) are featured prominently in the award-winning documentary “Fight For Life,” about actor and MMA fighter Mariano Mendoza’s monthslong recovery from severe COVID-19 in 2022. “All the nurses there, the staff, the physical therapists, the speech therapists, the respiratory therapists are amazing,” Mariano’s wife, Dawn, says in the film. “… It’s really amazing how much they cared.”
