Students can help our youngest Bears learn their colors by wearing a special color each day from August 17 through 21.

Monday: Wear Red
Tuesday: Wear Yellow
Wednesday: Wear Orange
Thursday: Wear Blue
Friday: Wear Purple

Participation is encouraged, but not required. Students may participate on any or all of the days.

JCPS is introducing My Ride K-12, a new parent communication app that allows families to track their child's school bus using real time GPS.

With My Ride K-12, parents and guardians can:

View their student's assigned bus information
Track the bus location in real time
Receive estimated bus arrival times
Access the service through the My Ride K-12 mobile app or a web browser

Getting Started
Families may create a My Ride K-12 account now. Beginning Monday, July 27, 2026, parents and guardians can link their student(s) for the 2026-2027 school year.

To link your student, you will need:

Student ID number
Student's last name
Student's date of birth

We encourage all families who utilize JCPS transportation services to create an account and link their student before the first day of school to ensure they are ready to receive transportation information.
