It is with great sadness that we announce that Dr McCrobie has stepped down as the Director of Bands at Valley High School. This is a rough time for our program that had seen remarkable growth.

To our only graduating senior Abraham……. Thank you for being a solid foundation for the Viking fortress to be built upon. Your dedication to the program after such significant change is admirable. The Band would like to congratulate our 2025-2026 John Philip Sousa Award winner, Abraham Castro Correa, c/o 2026 and now UC Bands Patriot. Today you set sail on a journey that will take you far. Remember your home, and remember that Once a Viking…ALWAYS a Viking.

Congrats to all of those who auditioned for the Valley Wind Symphony. These 27 student will represent Valley in our KMEA Grade 5 ensemble. We have a wonderful group for our Symphonic Band and our Full Concert Orchestra as well! Keep an eye out for Concert Dates and times! www.ValleyVikingBand.org

Hope to see you Friday Night to support our wonderful Viking Band members at the Southwest Honor Band Performance. We are also excited that our Very Own Dr. McCrobie has had to step in to cover due to an emergency. It's going to be a GREAT night of Musical Excellence!

Congrats to the Wind Symphony on their State Concert Proficient rating. It was their first time there and we are excited for our future. . Also congrats to the Concert Band for their outstanding participation and year, they also performed at the state festival.
