Financial Educator. Stamping out financial illiteracy by teaching families How Money Works.

08/17/2026

If something happened to you, would the people you love know what you wanted?

A will is only one part of the conversation. Beneficiaries, important documents, trusted decision-makers and simply making sure your family knows where everything is can all play a role.

It connects directly to Money Milestone #7: Protect Wealth.

Learn about why protecting wealth is about more than money and how a little preparation today can create much more clarity for the people you care about.

Take a few minutes to read it, then ask yourself:
Would my family know what to do?

Everyone loves a good money-saving hack.

Clip this coupon. Cancel that subscription. Buy in bulk. Make coffee at home. Skip the avocado toast. Use this app. Follow this trick. Try this challenge.

Some of these ideas can help. A few dollars here and there can matter. But the problem is that many “money-saving hacks” sound smart while doing very little to change the bigger picture.

They create the feeling of progress without always producing real progress.

We believe financial literacy begins with learning how money actually works. That means looking past the trendy tips and asking better questions. Is this really saving me money? Is it changing my habits? Is it helping me build long-term stability? Or is it just making me feel better while the real leaks in my financial life keep draining me?

“Freedom always has carried a price. Some paid it with their lives. The rest of us should not waste ours living financially uneducated, overextended and trapped by decisions we don’t fully understand. This summer, make memories, but don’t confuse spending with freedom. Real freedom is knowing how money works. That’s the kind of freedom worth teaching, protecting and that every American family deserves.” 🇺🇸

Such a timely message from our founder, Tom Matthews. This was featured in a local publication, The Kentucky Standard.

Most people think being rich starts with money.

It doesn’t. It starts with mindset.

Long before someone builds a strong income, grows investments, or achieves financial independence, they first develop the ability to think differently about money. They begin to see opportunity where others see obstacles. They take responsibility where others assign blame. They pursue education where others wait for rescue.

That’s where wealth begins.

Thank you for allowing me to be part of your Grand Opening. I’ve had a great experience working out there, and the staff has been awesome!

Physical fitness has always been important to me. It shares many similarities to personal finances: You have a goal, you make a plan, you execute. However, having some guidance can help you on your journey. While personal trainers can assist with your physical goals, financial professionals can assist with your financial goals.

So, if your finances are “out of shape” and need to be “toned up,” reach out to your trusted financial professional. They’ll have the resources and guidance to help keep you on track. 💪💵

For many households, financial stress doesn’t begin with disaster. It begins with everyday expenses they weren’t prepared for.

When people imagine a financial setback, they often picture something dramatic.

A market crash.
A major medical emergency.
A sudden bankruptcy.
Some huge, once-in-a-lifetime event that turns everything upside down.

But that is not usually how financial stress enters a household.

More often, it shows up through ordinary life.

A car repair.
A home issue.
A missed payment.
A medical bill.
A reduction in income.

Not dramatic. Just disruptive.

Most wealth doesn’t disappear because of bad markets. It disappears because of bad decisions.

Families often focus on passing down assets but skip the harder conversation about understanding money itself. That gap creates confusion, conflict, and regret.

👉 Financial education protects legacy.

When families learn together, they pass down clarity, shared values, and better questions, not just balances.

The most valuable inheritance isn’t money. It’s knowing how to use it well.

Money shapes everything.

It affects your choices.
Your relationships.
Your freedom.
Your future.

And yet for far too many women, money still feels like something we were expected to “figure out” quietly… or let someone else handle.

That ends now.

We have launched the WealthWave Women’s Survey 2026, and it may be one of the most important invitations you receive this year.

It’s simple:

• 10 multiple-choice questions
• Anonymous and confidential
• Takes just a few minutes

But the impact? It could shape an entire year of research, media coverage, and public conversation about women and money.

🚨 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐰𝐞’𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬.

Financial confusion is quietly draining families—from the effects of inflation, AI-driven financial decisions, debt overload, and a retirement system that wasn’t built to last 30 years. Most people are still making money decisions based on outdated advice they heard 20 years ago.

But you don’t have to stay in the dark.

📚 We believe financial literacy is no longer optional—it’s survival. If you’ve ever thought:
"𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘺 𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘺 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨?"

"𝘞𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘐 𝘣𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵?"

"𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘐 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘮𝘺 𝘧𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘺 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴?"

Then this is your wake-up call.

2026 is here… and now is the time to get clear. Not overwhelmed. Not confused. Just clear.

💡 Let’s change your story, together.
