Happy Staff Appreciation Week to our wonderful staff! Today we enjoyed some awesome treats from Nords Bakery!!!!

Dear Crums Lane Families,

I hope that the last 2 days have been a success as our children have gone back to school. As we are still facing COVID, we trust that our staff is doing whatever it takes to ensure the safety of themselves as well as our children.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for what you did last year by joining the Crums Lane PTA, and we would like to give you an opportunity to renew your membership for the 21-22 school year. Last year our memberships were down due to COVID, but this year hopefully, we will be able to exceed our goal of having 100 memberships or more.

Your support last year was great and we were able to do a few things for our students and staff. We have some new and exciting events planned for this year, and I know that could be challenging right now due to COVID-19, but I am confident in what we are doing in order to reach the Crums Lane PTA community, which includes our families and our staff.

So you may be asking, what does the PTA have to offer: (I’m glad you asked)

1. The PTA advocates for all children

2. The PTA helps improve school programs that will benefit our children in their education.

3. The PTA PTAs focus on what students need to be successful in their learning, including nutrition, health, school safety, physical fitness and general well-being. PTA works with schools to ensure that children succeed.

4. PTA raises money to support the specific needs of our school.

These are just a few reasons why I encourage you to join Crums Lane PTA.

Crums Lane PTA would like to extend our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to the family of Ms. Tracey Kenemore, our beloved crossing guard. Every time we saw her, she had a smile on her face. She will be missed not only by her immediate family, but by her extended Crums Lane family as well. Let us keep this family in our thoughts and prayers!
