JusticeFest was amazing. Our students from W.E.B. DuBois Males of Color Academy presented a well thought out proposal to improve air quality in green space deserts which are more likely to be found in black and brown neighborhoods. Our goal is to plant more trees and end what is known as Arbor Apartheid.

JCTA planning caravan at Capitol in Frankfort Some teachers will be caravanning to the Kentucky State Capitol on Monday morning to fight House Bill 563.

Got a chance to present to the SVEA Student Virginia Education Association this morning on Democracy in Education. I really enjoyed this opportunity to prepare our youth. We must defeat this bill. HB 563 will allow any nefarious character access to tax payer money and charge it in the name of "education".
