August 9th is Coleman Prep Day!! đ
In 2021, on August 9th, Coleman Prep Academy had its 1st day of school. This year, we honored that day as Coleman Prep Day. To make the day even more special, we were presented with our proclamation by Deputy Mayor Chan Kemper, the first Black female deputy mayor of Louisville AND sheâs an HBCU alum (Fisk)!
Coleman Prep Day honors our 1st day of school in 2021 and was our inaugural day of giving.
âOur vision for Coleman Prep is not simply to help students get through school. Our vision is to help them discover who they are, recognize their potential, and prepare them to lead meaningful, successful lives. We want every student to know that their dreams matterâand that their circumstances do not have to determine their future.
But vision requires action. It requires the right relationships, meaningful connections, and people who are willing to invest in children before they can fully see all that those children will become. When we build those connections, we create more than support for a schoolâwe create a stronger future for our entire community.â

Coleman Prep Day is an opportunity to invest in that future. To date, weâve raised 58% of our goal! You can still help us reach the other 42%! Any donation amount helps đ„°
