Trailblazer Book Club starts tomorrow! In person or on Zoom.

PreK-1st will be reading “I Promise” by LeBron James
2nd-5th will start reading “President of the Whole Fifth Grade” by Sherri Winston.

Join us at 5PM!

It’s that time of year! We are calling on HBCU alumni & students to send us a YOUTH tee from your favorite HBCU! Now with our new Phoenix Program, coupled with the growing number of our Coleman Prep Trailblazers as a whole— WE NEED LOTS OF TEES!

Our age ranges from 3 years old to 13 years old, so we need youth tees to fit this range.

For the last 5 years we’ve given an HBCU tee to each of our Trailblazers! Please help us keep this tradition going!

Send us a tee or send us a donation!

The HBCU tees we give out become a part of their uniform, and they wear them whenever they want AND on our HBCU Tee Days!

Only a few days before we start our summer book club! In person or on Zoom for ages 3 through 5th grade. Older students are welcome to join as well.

Each week PreK-1st grade will read 1-2 different books.
2nd-5th grade will read “President of the Whole Fifth Grade”, with discussion.

All students enrolled into our Pre-Kindergarten classes are ready academically and socially for Kindergarten!

Yes, they’ll learn their ABCs and 123s, and a few sight words, but they also learn how to listen, share, be kind, and use their voice!

If you have a 3 or 4 year old, you should strongly consider becoming a part of the Trailblazer family! Share with a friend!

Trailblazer Summer Book Club – Join the Adventure!

This summer, we’re launching our 1st Trailblazer Book Club for Pre-K through 5th graders—a fun, engaging way to keep kids reading, thinking, and creating all summer long!

Pre-K – 1st Grade: Storytime & Crafts
Each week, our youngest readers will:
•Enjoy a new read-aloud picture book
•Take part in a hands-on craft or activity that goes along with the story (*in-person attendees)
•Build a love of reading in a playful, welcoming setting

2nd – 5th Grade: Chapter Book Club
Our older readers will dive into “President of the Whole Fifth Grade” by Sherri Winston over the 7-week session. Together, we will:
•Read and discuss the book in manageable sections
•Explore discussion and comprehension questions
•Make connections to real-life leadership, friendship, and responsibility
*participants must have the novel
