During Bellarmine’s 75th Anniversary Mass in Frazier Hall, an unexpected medical emergency occurred when a guest experienced a seizure. While 911 was called and help was on the way, one of our junior nursing students, Molly Hobbs, immediately stepped in with professionalism and calm under pressure.
Without hesitation, Molly timed the seizure, reminded those assisting to check for patient incontinence, and provided valuable support—all while maintaining scene safety and clear communication.
Her quick thinking, clinical judgment, and compassionate presence exemplify what it means to be a Bellarmine Nurse. We are incredibly proud of Molly for demonstrating the skill, confidence, and care that define our School of Nursing and the Bellarmine community.
