This week, we capped off an incredible year of programming with 11 schools. This year, our scholars learned about the Meaning in the Music, Social Determinants of Health, LinkedIn & Professional Profiles, Conflict Management, Upskilling, Causes of Gun Violence in Louisville, Ky and Resume Building.
Since October 2025 to May 2026, we worked with 150+ students across grades 3rd - 12th in weekly academic enrichment sessions. We grew together, challenged one another, established accountability, and had some fun along the way too.
Special shout out to our school partners this year!

For the past few months, our high school students have been studying the causes and lasting effects of gun violence for Black males 👨🏾. This problem has negatively impacted the city of Louisville, Ky unlike many other cities in the United States. We have looked at data 📈 to better understand when homicides happen and during what hours, along with the demographics impacted the most.
Our seminar will bring us together in one space to share, discuss, and be transparent about causes of conflict and ways to de-escalate tension in the heat of the moment.
All of our lives are valuable, so we will define our values and learn better practices for our mental health 🏥
Special thanks to our partners and supporters of this project: , , ,
