The community Trunk or Treat was fantastic; it was great to see children and their families participate, as well as community members bringing their creativity and generosity.🎃🍭

Yakoki Princess Lexi for inspiring a love of reading in our children during Read Aloud Month. When the children asked her what her favorite color was, she answered, “purple.” She read The Creepy Crayon!, written by Aaron Reynolds and illustrated by Peter Brown. Her infectious enthusiasm showed that reading and learning can be a fun and exciting adventure. The children cherished their time with her, taking photos and creating memories that will last a lifetime, leaving them thrilled and inspired by her visit.

A huge thanks to Kim Ferris, Magnolia Charm&Creativity, for hosting and sharing her expertise at the Parents Paint Party. This event provided an easy going environment for parents to explore their artistic side, connect with fellow parents, and unwind from their busy schedule. The Parents/Guardians of the Crystal Ridge Resource Center greatly enjoyed the experience.

The mobile resource center made a stop at the Crystal Ridge Community. The children had a wonderful time creating a pumpkin out of construction paper and pipe cleaners with Mrs. Wendy Jackson. Diane Johnston and Heather Adams provided the children with a bag full of goodies. The children are very thankful for the treat bags and for their visit to the mobile resource bus.
