We are hiring in Louisville!

Freedom Senior Services is looking for a Medicaid Intake and Admissions Coordinator. This is the person families reach first.

This position will help older adults and people with disabilities get approved for waiver services and get their care started, working alongside our Outreach team, case managers, and physicians across Kentucky.

If you know someone who has worked in healthcare intake, admissions, referral coordination, or Medicaid eligibility, and the kind of person who follows up until something is finished, we would like to talk with them.

Full-time in our Louisville office. Health insurance, dental, life insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

Today, Freedom Senior Services is proud to be at the Bates Community Development Corporation Produce Bingo at Camp Edwards! Instead of traditional prizes, participants are winning fresh, healthy produce while connecting with local organizations and resource partners dedicated to serving our community.

A special thank you as well to Chandler Insurance Group for organizing and bringing this amazing group together—we truly appreciate your leadership and support in making this event possible!

What a day! Case managers, coordinators, outreach leads, caregivers, and community partners filled the house at our Freedom Senior Services Meet & Greet today at our Fern Creek Adult Day Center in Louisville.

The best part: many of these wonderful people have worked together for years, coordinating care for the same participants, solving problems on the same cases, and had never once met face to face until today. Watching those first in-person hellos happen all afternoon was something special.

Home and community based care is built on relationships. The phone calls, the referrals, the handoffs that keep a senior safely at home all run on trust between people. Putting faces to names makes every one of those connections stronger.

Thank you to everyone who took time out of a busy Thursday to be with us, and to our featured speakers Deveda Parker, Amanda Johnson, and Julia Babich for sharing what this work looks like from the inside. Special thanks to our own rockstar Sydney Stallcup for planning such a wonderful event.

To our partners across Kentucky: this is the first of many. The work is better when we know each other. ❤️🤍💙
