Students, be sure to get the FREE tool for helping students stay on top of their assignments and due dates for all their courses. The Due Gooder app provides an array of important features to help students stay organized, tackle assignments on time, and leverage study tools that will augment their out-of-class preparation. It provides the following:
Personalized Schedules: Students upload course syllabi (or connect Blackboard) to extract every assignment and due date, syncs with Google Calendar, and they receive daily nudges/reminders to stay on track. Creates customizable calendars and to-do lists.
Pre-Built Class Chats: Students can talk with their classmates about course content, form study groups, and learn from one another.

Congratulations to Dr. Jasmine Whiteside, who received an A&S Research and Creative Activity Grant for 26-27. Her research will focus on the “Motivations and Barriers to Retention Among First-Generation Staff and Faculty,” examining how first-generation staff and faculty navigate institutional environments, including challenges related to belonging, mobility, and support.
