Y'all, my JOY at finding vintage copies of this Environmental Education curriculum startled the school librarian. My collection is complete.

I was listening to Suzanne Simard's When the Forest Breathes last night before bed, then spent the whole night dreaming I was replacing the forest soil one bag at a time.

We are drowning
In short form thoughts and
Bad information.

AI is a child's game of telephone
That eats the earth.

We don't understand the message, but
We're hanging ourselves on the line.

Meanwhile, we've forgotten birdsong
And what it means
When the forest goes silent.

Can you find the Pipevine Swallowtail caterpillar in this picture? Years ago we purchased a Dutchman's Pipevine plant from Idlewild Butterfly Farm . It has taken some time, but this specimen is now thriving and is hosting lots of babies! More pictures and information in the comments.
