We provide hands-on experiences in many areas to expand your child’s skills and knowledge. Children are placed in groups according to their specific ages. This helps us plan age-appropriate activities for each group. We not only provide in-center activities, but also field trips on a regular basis. This environment helps your child develop self-esteem through growth in many crucial areas of development. Your child will enjoy his or her time in our center while you run errands, go to work or do your other necessary activities. Our hours of operation are 7:00AM – 5:30PM Monday – Friday, which are convenient hours for most working parents. ABC Adventures was established in 1996. We provide age-appropriate care and activities for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Our hours of operation are convenient for parents who need to work, as we are open Monday through Friday from 6:30AM to 6:00PM. In addition, we want to assure the parents of the children we care for can leave their kids in our care confident that we will nurture and care for them in a safe and loving environment. ABC Adventures provides childcare services for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. We design our care and curriculum to meet the needs of each age group. This way we provide the most enjoyable experience for the children who come into the center. We provide a nurturing, safe environment for our infants and toddlers. These age groups are just starting to know about the world around them. We make sure that they have a right environment in which to explore their world. As the children grow older, we offer certain educational programs along with our nurturing to begin getting them prepared for elementary school. Children 3 to 5 years of age are in this care group. We even provide North Carolina Pre-K. ABC also has after-school programs for those children who are between age 6 and 12 years. These provide special morning and afternoon care for parents who work or are otherwise tied up before and past school hours. In addition, throughout the summer we provide activities and care for this age group, as well as all other age groups. We provide interactive classroom experiences for learning various skills important to a child’s development. These experiences help children to develop language, reading, eye-hand coordination, cognitive and computer skills. In addition, we have a spacious, fenced-in playground for the children to play so their bodies become as strong as their minds. We also believe in taking the children on field trips to expand their knowledge further of the world around them or at times, just to have fun. We provide breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack.
