Early Bloomers Childcare

There have been some big changes for us lately. Miss Roxanne has now opened her own home daycare in Louisburg. She is located in a great spot in town, near the high school, pool and parks. Roxanne will be offering the same environment that she has provided at Early Bloomers for the last 8 years.

For those of you who don't know Miss Roxanne, she is one of the kindest people I've ever known. She understands children and is always engaged, attentive and present with them. She keeps the kids busy with daily preschool activities including circle time, songs, stories, calendar etc. The new Early Bloomers will remain tv free with lots of time outdoors. Roxanne's place is set up similar to the way mine always was, with the basement solely dedicated to home daycare space to provide a safe environment full of different play spaces for the kids to keep them busy and engaged.

Keep your eyes peeled for a new page. Roxanne is going to start fresh with her own page. She will be posting a link here to let you all know where to find the new one.

I am currently taking a break from home daycare. I have been doing it for over 10 years and have loved it, but my kids are mostly schooling online right now and I'm needed by my family. Thank you to ALL of you who have trusted me with your little ones. I learned more from them than they ever learned from me. I will miss all my kiddos and their parents dearly. You will probably see me around here and there, as I've agreed to sub for Roxanne when she needs me. See you all around!

The kids love picking up rocks.

Jack: Hey Erin, will you pay us a million dollars if we pick up all the rocks in the whole arena?
Me: That’s a hard no.
Jack: How much will you pay us?
Me: Nothing
Kids: Awww
Me: I’ll give you popsicles...(they get popsicles almost every day when it’s warm out)
Kids: Yay (jumping up and down) You’re the BEST!
Me: 😉

I bought this little light so that the non nappers could see to play when we turn the lights off for nap. The kids love it so much that we have to eat lunch “like a restaurant” almost every day. 😆

Simple Easter Crafts
Paper plate bunny
Plastic egg bouquet
A potato makes an excellent stamp. Can use cookie cutters to stamp paint or trace and color.
Need paint??
1 cup salt
I cup flour
1 cup water
Food coloring
Have fun!!

Some tips.. use parchment paper when rolling dough out. Makes cute Easter egg ornaments or handprints. I let air dry instead of baking.
Can paint after dry or can add food coloring to dough.
Have fun!
