First of all I have to say congratulations to Pat Apple on a great race that brought him victory. I wish him the best on making the impact needed in our schools.
To my many supporters and followers; Thank you. Your love and inspiration was amazing and took me further on this journey than I thought possible. 500+ votes did not allow me to win this, however that shows that there’s almost 40% of the voting community that believes in the focus we see necessary. Keep voting. Keep being involved. There are more of us than you know! Our kids are our future and I will never quit working for their benefit. My route may just be different. To my family and especially my wife Emily. You made this happen. You have the heart of gold and I’m so lucky and blessed to share this life with you. We gave it a phenomenal shot and this time it wasn’t meant to be. Thanks for being the best part of me!
I lead my about me as a God-Fearing man because he is my #1. I hope I brought him honor in my pursuit to protect the kids. I have peace knowing that his will be done and not my own.
Lastly, I encourage everyone to stay involved. Elections are exciting but there is much work to be done beyond today. Our school still needs support and our Board depends on concerned and active parents and citizens being their eyes and ears. We have a responsibility beyond voting and I assure you I will continue through that Avenue to be sure that we remain one of the best schools and communities around.
I assure you I will not be done after one campaign. I’ve learned a lot and continue to have a fire inside to help. Until next time Louisburg.
God Bless you, Louisburg! Good Night!
