Happy Agriculture Education Week from Lawrence County 4-H! 🌾🚜🍀

We’re celebrating with Ag Days at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds today and tomorrow! We’re excited to spend two days giving local students a fun, hands-on look at agriculture and the important role it plays in our everyday lives.

We had a great time hosting the “It’s Your Reality” program for 8th graders across Lawrence County during their first Bridge Day of the year! 🍀 Students got a hands-on look at budgeting, careers, and real-life financial decisions.

We have food preservation booklets available. Each booklet will come with a magnetic lid lifter while supplies last.

Just a reminder that our 4-H Day Club meets TODAY at 10:00 AM! We’d love to have your kids join us for some fun, hands-on activities.

We also have a really cool opportunity with our History & Civic Leadership Club! We have some exciting things planned this year, so come check it out at our October meeting!

And for our older kids, our Teen Leadership Club will be meeting next month too!

We have new changes to start the new Kentucky 4-H program year.
Kentucky 4-H enrollment is going online! 💻🍀

Starting September 1, families will use 4-H Online to enroll youth members and register for county and state 4-H opportunities.
