4th & 5th Grade Slow Start Schedule
To help students ease into the new school year, our 4th and 5th grade classes will have a Slow Start.
🗓️ Tuesday, August 18
🔹 Last Names A–L only

🗓️ Wednesday, August 19
🔹 Last Names M–Z only

⭐ 6th Grade Students
There is NO Slow Start for 6th grade.
All 6th grade students will begin school on Tuesday, August 18.

We can't wait to welcome everyone back for an amazing school year! 💙📖✏️

Our 5th graders had the chance to pie their teachers in the face as a state testing reward! Congratulations to those who had their name drawn to pie a teacher!

On Tuesday, our fifth graders had their annual market day to wrap on the economic unit in Social Studies. Students had to create a good/service that they would then “sell” to other students. These ladies had to top profit!

In the areas of Art, Music, Gym, Library/Stem we have some amazing standout students who were recognized by their teachers! Also thank you to everyone who participated in the Fitness Challenge! YOU GOT THIS!!! 🤩

A few yearly traditions at the Budd school include the 5th and 6th grade spelling bee, along with the 6th grade Science Fair. While not mandatory for students we love when they stretch their comfort zone and try something new! Congratulations to these students for giving it their all!

Next up we want to recognize all the students that are working hard academically and earned either: All A average or Honor Roll this year, we are so proud as the sheer number of students for these two is astounding!!!

Over the next few hours we would like to recognize students that received recognition yesterday at our Awards ceremonies.

Starting off we would like to honor the rarest achievement because they are so difficult and take daily focus.
