Adventure Kids Learning and Childcare Center The Adventure Starts Here! Infants: 2-24m Preschool: 2-4yrs In our classroom, everyday is a teaching experience.

Our philosophy is a well balanced approach through Montessori, Reggio, and traditional works. The children will learn independence in the classroom by learning how to do everyday tasks, such as; cutting fruits and vegetables, pouring liquids, cooking activities washing activities and so much more. Children are taught to take responsibility for setting up their work area, cleaning it up when finish

ed and putting supplies away. Not only for the children but for the teachers as well. While children are accustomed for adults to be the experts, we value our children by allowing them the opportunity to be the experts as well. When children ask questions, we don't automatically provide them with a quick answer. We encourage them to use their senses, past experiences and allow them the opportunity to explore and discover their way into finding the answer. We also encourage their creativity to shine through our young authors adventures. Children work as a group to come up with a story. Each student takes a turn adding a sentence to the story and change it depending on were they want the story to go. It is an incredible and positive way to challenge children to use their imagination. At this young age, it is vital for children to form positive relationships.. Not only with their peers but with adults as well. We help create social situations through activities and play throughout the day where children learn how to respect, appreciate and communicate with their peers and their teachers. We help guide children through difficult situations and help them understand and cope with their feeling. We feel that it is an integral part of developing a child as a whole.

Our School

We are early childhood educators. We will focus on every aspect of your child’s development and will help guide your child as they grow. As teachers we plan and implement activities that meet the physical, intellectual, emotional and social needs of your child. Some of these will result in your child getting super messy(ex:mud covered/paint covered/water play). We believe in allowing our little ones to fully explore their environment in their natural curious ways
