Dear Parents-

After careful consideration, with the health and safety of our students and staff at the forefront, all Los Lunas Schools will be transitioning into a voluntary remote learning platform on Monday and Tuesday prior to the Thanksgiving Break.

Zoom codes will be on teacher's Canvas Pages and will follow their regular schedule.

All Los Lunas Schools students will be attending their classes virtually Monday, November 22nd and Tuesday, November 23rd. Lunches will be available for pickup on both days from 11:30-1:00 at the following locations: Los Lunas High School, Los Lunas Elementary, and Valencia Middle School.

Students will return to in-person learning on Monday, November 29.

This lesson we utilized “Everyone Can Create Drawing” Apple Education.
The Students have been drawing facial features, for this assignment, the students had to add a photo selfie to Sketches School. They had to trace the major facial features, then make light marks and a few lines. The image they created of themself is amazing!

LLMS boys and girls basketball tryouts will be November 15,16 and 17. Times will be announced later this week.
All paperwork must be uploaded to Rank One before the students can try out.
Students must have a GPA of 2.0 and no F on their G2 report card, no exceptions.

"Students have been practicing drawing a realistic face. We started with the 👁 eyes, then the 👃 nose, last the 👄 mouth. The assignment was to draw a face. It should be half realistic face and half skeleton or monster face. Students had to include line, shape, space, form and value in their art picture. They did an amazing job. I am proud of their creative ideas and their ability to put it on paper".

Dear Parent/Guardian:
We would like to invite you to Parent Teacher Conferences (PTC) Thursday, October 28th and Friday October 29th, students will be dismissed at 11:45 am on both of these days. Your child’s advisory teacher will be reaching out to schedule a conference via Zoom. If your advisory teacher has not contacted you by next Tuesday, October 26th, please call 505-865-7273 to schedule a PTC.

Math Tutoring is offered during A/B lunch Mondays and Tuesdays in room 501. Online Math Tutoring is available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:45pm -3:45pm. Zoom link is available on Canvas and under Principal’s Message. After School activities (ELT) will be offered soon.
