Don't forget, a month of sponsored museum attendance for Valencia County residents and Isleta Pueblo members kicks off next week, courtesy of Meta!

Throughout September, Valencia County residents and Isleta Pueblo members can enjoy the museum free of charge. Eligible residents should bring a driver's license or any other proof of residency to the Museum's front desk to participate. This includes free museum admission and entry to a show at our Planetarium.

Big one to celebrate this year! Be Pro Be Proud is turning 10! For a whole decade, using hands-on simulators and Meta Quest headsets to bring technical careers to life, they've been showing students that a career in the skilled trades is something to be proud of, and we couldn't agree more. To mark the milestone, we're teaming with BPBP for ten special events across our data center communities, starting with the Be Pro Be Proud National Conference!

We were honored to be part of a conversation about how training, technology, and real career exposure come together to open doors for people in the communities we live and work in. We were happy to speak to a full house of 100+ workforce development and education leaders, employers, and policy makers from 15+ states! 🔧⚡🏗️

New Mexico holds a special place in this story. We were honored to be part of Be Pro Be Proud's statewide launch here alongside the New Mexico Chamber of Commerce. Our partnership has now reached ~70,000 students through support in Tennessee and New Mexico and in data center communities in Illinois, North Carolina, and Ohio. 💧 The Colorado River Basin supplies water to 40 million people across seven states -- one of the most critical watersheds in the American West. It's also home to 12 of Meta's water restoration projects, part of our goal to be water positive in 2030.

That's why we're proud to partner with water advocate and ultra-marathoner Mina Guli, who's running 2,000 miles across the Basin this summer -- documenting every mile through Oakley Meta glasses to bring this river's story to life.

Our friends at the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History, a 2026 Data Center Community Action Grant recipient, are hosting free admission days for local residents! Every fourth Sunday of the month, all Valencia County and Pueblo of Isleta residents can visit the museum free of charge — just bring a photo ID.

Free summer programming for Valencia County youth!

The New Mexico Technology Council, a 2026 Data Center Community Action Grant recipient, is launching Future Ready AI — bringing accessible, hands-on AI education to Valencia County. In collaboration with Sandia National Labs, NMTC will connect local youth with industry-leading AI experts to build practical digital skills.

From June through August, NMTC will host five in-person sessions at UNM-Valencia Campus. High school students and young adults will explore topics like prompt writing, AI career pathways, digital literacy, ethical considerations, and future readiness with emerging technologies.

We're proud to support programs that create opportunities for local youth to gain hands-on experience and exposure to New Mexico's growing tech ecosystem.

Full house at the Valencia County Business Bash! 🎉 Small business owners and nonprofit leaders from across the area came together to explore how AI tools, prompt engineering, and digital strategies can help grow their online presence and reach new customers.
