What does the future look like when technology is changing the world around us?

Our scholars recently spent time with Mr. Alvin Manko, a retired ICT expert and Managing Director of Border Point Hotel, discussing technology, education, and preparing for the future.

Drawing on his ICT experience, Mr. Manko encouraged them to take their academics seriously while embracing technology as part of their learning and future careers. The conversation continued over lunch, giving the scholars time to ask questions and learn from his journey.

At Kusoma International, we believe education should help young people see what is possible and give them the tools to pursue it.

The school year didn't go as planned. But our scholars kept moving forward.

Despite school unrest and a long half-term break, our scholars achieved improved results from the previous term.

As they prepare for their final term of 2026, they met with Mr. Mang'era Gerard to reflect, set goals, and prepare for the road ahead.

One more term. One more opportunity to grow. One step closer to their future.

We are proud of their progress and grateful to everyone investing in their journey.

From expanding access to education through our community library, to career sensitization programmes, land surveying for a future school, and community partnerships, Kusoma International continues to invest in brighter futures.

A room can be more than just a room.

It can become a place where curiosity grows, confidence is built, and futures begin to take shape.

Against significant odds, Kusoma International – Laurenti Mohochi Education Foundation has established a community library designed to support literacy and provide students with a safe, quiet space to learn and grow.

Open Mondays to Saturdays, this space is already becoming a place where children can read, study, and dream bigger.

But this is only the beginning.

The new term starts with connection.

Before books opened, our scholars sat down together, shared a meal, shared their stories, and welcomed the newest member of the Kusoma family, Daniel (Class of 2026), alongside our 2024 scholars Diana and Joseph.
