Please join us on Friday morning from 8:30am-9:30am in the MPR for breakfast and a Cool Cat Orientation. We’d love to hear about how the school year is going so far and answer any questions you have. This event is for all new-to-Daves parents, and if you couldn’t make it last year, this event is for you, too! We look forward to seeing you!

Our International Festival is all about honoring our various cultures, highlighting both the rich differences and shared connections that bring us together. So far, we’ll be featuring traditions and stories from across the globe:

Africa: Algeria, Egypt
Asia & Middle East: China, India, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Turkey
Europe: Greece, Scotland, Spain, Sweden
Oceania: Australia
The Americas: Mexico

We need YOU to make this event complete!
We’ve got the tables, sound equipment, and food trucks ready—now we just need your unique traditions to bring it to life! At its heart, this festival is a reflection of the people and cultures that make up our community. Whether you’d like to share traditional food, display artwork, perform, or set up a cultural booth, your participation is what makes this meaningful for our students.

🌍 Mark your calendars! The International Festival is on Wednesday, September 16th!

We warmly invite your family to participate in this year’s International Festival by sharing a culture or country that is meaningful to you. Last year, more than 30 Daves Avenue families created incredible experiences through food, art, games, music, clothing, photos, displays, and more, and this year, we hope even more families will join us!

Each table or booth offers our community an opportunity to learn, connect, and appreciate the traditions and stories that make every family special. Attendees will receive a passport and “travel the world” at Daves, collecting stamps as they visit each country.

This event is one of our favorite ways to come together and honor the beauty of our community. 💚

The Home & School Club (HSC) invites all Daves Ave parents and guardians to our upcoming Parents’ Night Out on Wednesday, 8/26. Enjoy light bites, drinks, and great conversation while catching up with old friends and meeting new ones.
