🤠⛏️ Last Friday, our 4th graders brought the California Gold Rush to life with their Dalet Saloon experience!

Through creative, student-designed projects, Kitah Dalet showcased their learning about life in 1849, demonstrating impressive historical knowledge, teamwork, and creativity.

The saloon included a wide range of projects showcasing the integration among subject areas. We are so proud of their hard work and enthusiasm! ⭐

🧪🐟 Our 7th graders took science learning to the next level!

As part of their human body unit, students explored the digestive system through a hands-on silver carp dissection. From the swim bladder and intestines to the heart, liver, egg sac, and even the lens of the eye, students got an up-close look at anatomy in action.

Happy Shavuot! 🌾💙

Our Kitah Gan/Kindergarten students have been preparing for Shavuot through hands-on learning. From wheat paintings to making fruit salad and smoothies, students explored the many traditions of this harvest holiday. They also learned about the Ten Commandments and created their own “Gan Good Rules List.”

Yavneh’s Art Walk was an inspiring evening of creativity, identity, and student voice. From the 8th Grade Identity Installation to the incredible variety and choice of artistic mediums throughout the gallery, our students showcased imagination, skill, and thoughtful self expression.

At Yavneh, the arts are an essential part of how students explore ideas, discover their passions, and share their perspectives with the world around them.

Our 8th graders recently returned from an incredible journey through New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC, bringing learning to life through history, government, and Jewish heritage. From exploring iconic landmarks and museums to deepening their understanding of Jewish identity, leadership, and civic responsibility, this special trip created memories and connections that will stay with them for years to come.

As they prepare for graduation in just a few short weeks, we can’t wait to see all that their future holds and the impact they will make as the next generation of leaders.

In Yavneh tradition, this morning we gathered once again for our annual Lag BaOmer Field Day games, an experience that feels both timeless and new each year.

Filled with spirit, laughter, and so much ruach, our students carried on a tradition that connects generations through joy, teamwork, and a little friendly competition.
