Our 2nd Grade Computer Science students had so much fun looking inside a real computer! Exploring the actual hardware components was a great way for them to connect with what they have been learning in class. We look forward to sharing this experience with our 1G students later on once they master the basic computer parts.

Our Elementary students kicked off Lego Robotics Club yesterday! Students explored the software program, learning how to use coding to control the motors and the lights that we will use as we begin building sets next week. Our PSPK students had a blast exploring the sense of taste with Ms. Danna in science class. They tried four different flavors in class: sweet sugar cubes, sour lemons, salty pretzels, and bitter baker's chocolate. From big smiles over the sweet treats to funny pucker faces at the lemons, students were so excited to see how their taste buds work.

We had so much fun in Extended Day this past week. Our elementary students beat the heat inside the auditorium with giant parachute games, tackled awesome STEM projects, and made neat fall crafts. Our students had a blast making cardboard spinner, saving counting bears from "lava", making coffee-filter parachutes, and shaping colorful autumn trees.

Today marked the first day of afterschool club launches at Belgatos Park🥬🍅
