What a memorable 2026 FESTIBA! Our Mariachi Nuevo Halcón took 1st place in the 6A Category and Mariachi Halcón Dorado received 3rd place in the JV Category! We could not be prouder of our students! 🏅❤️

We are proud to announce that Mariachi Nuevo Halcón has received a Superior Division 1 Title at the UIL State Contest in Seguin, TX today! With a total of 25 in their session, our ensemble was among 10 to receive the distinction.

Four students were also recognized with Outstanding Performer medals: Andrea De La Garza, Carlos Contreras, Cruz Acuña, and Victoria Juarez. 🏅

Please help us congratulate them for this outstanding achievement and for placing Los Fresnos CISD in the elite level of UIL!
