🧀🍕 Cooking up some fun in Lower ALU! 🍕🧀
In honor of National Cheese Pizza Day, Ms. Olivarez’s lower ALU class at Palmer-Laakso Elementary turned their classroom into a mini pizzeria!

By blending math (measuring out ingredients) and science (watching the dough and cheese transform), the students put their academic skills to work to create a delicious homemade treat. 🧠✨

Although the Panther Carnival was canceled because of the rain, that didn’t stop Ms. Trejo’s class from having a magical day full of fun, laughter, and making Disney memories! The students had a great time learning about the history of Walt Disney, drawing pictures of Mickey Mouse, going on virtual rides, watching the illuminated parade, enjoying Mickey Mouse waffles, and ended the day with a Disney “Dream Big” fireworks show! ✨🏰♥️

What an amazing evening at our Special Olympics Banquet this past Saturday! 💛🏅

As we wrap up an incredible year, we want to thank all of our athletes and families for their dedication, support, and unforgettable memories throughout the season. We are so proud of everything our athletes accomplished this year, both on and off the field.

A huge thank you to our coaches, staff, and volunteers for the countless hours, hard work, and love you pour into this program.

We are also incredibly grateful to all of the parents and local businesses who donated and helped make this banquet so special.

We are so proud of our Falcons after an incredible week at the State Summer Games for soccer in Melissa, Texas! 🏅
Our Falcons JV team battled hard and earned 4th place in their division, showing determination, teamwork, and heart every step of the way.
Our Falcons Varsity Unified team brought home an amazing 2nd place finish in their division! 🥈 Their dedication, sportsmanship, and unity truly stood out on the big stage.
Beyond the medals, what matters most is the way these athletes represented our program—with pride, perseverance, and support for one another. They created unforgettable memories and made our community proud.

Thank you to our coaches, families, and supporters who continue to lift up these athletes. Falcon pride is strong! ⚽️💛
