As we prepare for a great school year, we ask that all families complete the Annual Data Confirmation through the AERIES Parent Portal.
The Data Confirmation process allows you to review and update important information, including:

Parent/Guardian contact information
Home address
Emergency contacts
Medical information
Other required school forms

Keeping this information current ensures we can contact you quickly in an emergency and provide you with important school and district communications.

🎓❤️ Celebrating our amazing 6th grade class during their final day at Henry Miller Elementary! Our students enjoyed their 6th grade celebration picnic and their memorable 6th grade walkout as they prepare for the next chapter ahead.

This group of students brought so much leadership, energy, and heart to our campus, and we are truly going to miss each and every one of them. Watching them grow throughout the years has been something special.

To our 6th graders - Do hard things! We know each of you will continue to soar in junior high and beyond. Remember… Once a Hawk, Always a Hawk! 🦅❤️

Today we proudly celebrated our Henry Miller Elementary Students of the Month for May’s character trait, Courage, and June’s character trait, Empathy! ❤️🖤

Our students continue to show what it means to be Hawks by standing strong in difficult moments, showing kindness to others, and leading with heart each and every day. We are so proud of the growth, leadership, and positive example these students demonstrate on our campus. 🦅

Our kindergarten students enjoyed a special McDonald’s drop-off celebration, while our 1st through 6th grade students were treated to a well-deserved pizza party! 🍟🍕🎉

Thank you to our staff and families for continuing to encourage and support the amazing character development of our students. Congratulations to all of our Student of the Month recipients, keep soaring, Hawks! ❤️

What a way to celebrate our amazing 6th grade students! 🥎🔥 Today’s Sixth Grade vs. Staff Kickball Game was filled with laughter, competition, school spirit, and unforgettable memories. From huge kicks and diving catches to lots of smiles and friendly trash talk, our students and staff had an absolute blast together!

These moments are what make Henry Miller Elementary so special building connections, creating memories, and celebrating the incredible students we are so proud of. ❤️🖤

A huge thank you to our staff for joining in on the fun and to our 6th graders for bringing the energy all game long. And this year… the 6th graders took this one home! 🏆👏 The staff may have fallen short this time, but we’ll definitely be coming back for more next year! 😄

❤️🖤 Heart of a Hawk Recognition 🖤❤️

This week we are excited to recognize Mrs. Billie Knoester for her dedication, passion, and commitment to the students and families of Henry Miller Elementary! 🦅

Mrs. Knoester has been teaching at HME for 12 years as a 4th grade teacher. Prior to becoming a classroom teacher, she worked as a paraeducator and with the LEAP after school program at LBE. It was through her experience working in the after school program that she discovered her passion for teaching and knew she wanted to become a teacher.

Mrs. Knoester shared that she has always known she wanted to work with children in some way, and her care and commitment to students shines through each and every day in her classroom. Her favorite subjects to teach are math and writing, where she helps students build confidence, problem-solving skills, and creativity. ✏️➕📚

Outside of school, Billie loves spending quality time with her husband and their three children. Family time is something she values greatly and enjoys making memories together. ❤️

Her advice to students is simple but powerful:
“Embrace your mistakes and use them as learning opportunities.”

❤️🖤 Heart of a Hawk Recognition 🖤❤️

This week we are proud to recognize Ms. Ashley Roman Flores for her incredible dedication and heart for the Henry Miller Elementary community! 🦅

Ashley has been part of the HME family for 9 years. During her first 5 years, she worked closely with our Special Education team as a Behavioral Support Assistant, and for the past 4 years she has served as one of our amazing office assistants supporting students, staff, and families each and every day.

Ashley shared that what inspires her most about working with children is being able to make a positive difference in their lives, helping students feel safe and supported at school, and watching them grow academically and personally. Her caring heart and positive spirit are felt by everyone who walks through our office doors.

What makes Ashley’s story even more special is that Henry Miller truly is home to her. Ashley was once a student here herself, and now she proudly gives back to the same school community that helped shape her. ❤️

A fun fact about Ashley is that she loves being adventurous and trying new things! Outside of work she enjoys working out, attending baseball games, spending time with her son and family, going to the beach, exploring new places, and trying different foods. She proudly considers herself a big food lover! ⚾🏖️🍔

Ashley’s advice to students is:
“Things will always work out the way they are intended to. Always try your best and be patient with yourself. Do not limit yourself because of fear. Be brave, stay positive, and believe in yourself and your abilities.” ♥️

Today was a special moment at Henry Miller Elementary as we welcomed back our graduating seniors from Los Banos High School and Pacheco High School for their final elementary walkout. 💙💛❤️🖤

Seeing these young men and women walk our halls one last time filled us with so much pride and emotion. From little Hawks to graduating seniors, it has been incredible watching you grow into the leaders, athletes, scholars, and individuals you are today.

No matter where life takes you next, always remember, once a Hawk, always a Hawk. 🦅 Keep soaring and chasing your dreams. Henry Miller Elementary will always be proud of you!

What a JOYFUL day at HME Field Day! ☀️💦🎉

From firefighter rainfalls 🚒💧 to obstacle courses, bounce houses, games, laughter, and smiles all around, today was truly one for the books! Seeing our students and staff having so much fun together was absolutely priceless. ❤️

A huge thank you to Mrs. Garcia and Mrs. Lagos for their incredible leadership and dedication in helping bring this amazing event to life, along with our entire Field Day team for putting together such a memorable experience for our students. 👏

We also want to give a very special thank you to our amazing parent volunteers for helping facilitate activities, support safety, and making the day run so smoothly. Your support means everything to our school community! 🙌

And of course… a HUGE thank you to the Los Banos Fire Department 🚒 especially Captain Andrew and his crew for showing up and becoming the stars of the show! The students absolutely loved every moment, and your presence made the day extra special.

Thank you all for helping create unforgettable memories for our Hawks! 🦅💙
