Before she was helping students access life-changing scholarship opportunities, Yoseline Mejia was charting a path of her own. As the first college graduate in her family, she earned both an associate’s degree in liberal studies and a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Mount Saint Mary’s University. As a participant in the 2025 HSF YLI held at the University of Southern California, Elizabeth hopes to attend a top university and pursue a career in engineering, with a focus on designing and manufacturing prosthetics that improve lives and expand accessibility for communities in need.
