1) We wanted a publication where women with a similar mindset (not just demographics), can see themselves reflected in its pages. Content featuring women of various ages, across different industries and from diverse racial and socioeconomic backgrounds, forging their own entrepreneurial path is in shortage. We need examples of what’s possible to inform our own pursuits. We need to listen and learn from one another's experiences. Considering your possibilities and pursuing your calling doesn’t end at a certain age. ...

2) Women need advice and resources when launching and growing their respective ventures.
When it comes to fashion, food, and fitness there is no shortage of information. But where do women go for entrepreneurial content? While women are starting businesses at a record pace, they are also failing at a record pace. We need to scaffold women with more than a simple “you’ve got this girl!” What's needed is (1) meaningful and actionable advice, and (2) resources and tips that will advance their steps and ultimately help them realize their potential in business and in life. ...

On a separate note, check out my first IG story. I was mtg with my designing duo clients this AM and as we ended our session they starting talking about how important and meaningful IG has been for their business growth. I then turned the consulting table around and said, "can you guys give me 3 tips for growing IG that I can share with my other clients?" Their reply, "start using IG Story." So I had a total girl crush thing happen to me today. Yesterday we posted our and named our for the week. And then today she said "thank you 😘" and I felt like Sally Field receiving an Oscar, "You like me, you really like me." I guess even 40-something girls can enjoy the thrilled of being an acknowledged fan!

As I reflect on 2016, even with all its antics, my heart is full for so many reason.
1) my family 2) my friends 3) the freedom I have to create a life that incorporates my work (and not the other way around) and 4) work with the most amazing clients who are changing the world one entrepreneur at a time!! Thanks to all the amazing ladies that have allowed me to walk alongside and journey with you towards your goals. You inspire me and I am deeply grateful for each of you!

Tuesday Tip No 4 - Today's tip is a less business than usual. Be intentional! That's our advice. In a season when crossing off 10 items merely gets you to the quarter mark take a minute to pause, or even STOP. Grab coffee with a friend, carve out two hours to break for a midday movie with your littles, or get in a hot8yoga class. Whatever takes you away from the crazy and centers your soul--that's our tip for today.
