This summer, Rediscover will host camps for youth at Rediscover Center Venice, Rediscover Center Mid City, and a pop-up in Rediscover Center on the border of Atwater and Glendale. Over the course of the season, hundreds of kids will come through our doors to build projects, make new friends, and experience the joy of hands-on creativity. It’s an incredible experience that we believe every kid, youth, and maker deserves access to this summer. 🪵🪚
This year, demand for financial aid has increased significantly due to growing economic needs facing many Los Angeles families. Based on a recent national survey by Edge Research of 30,515 parents or guardians of school-age children, parents want summer learning experiences for their kids, but half of them are being left out.
We are raising $75,000 by June 5 to support more families during the upcoming camp season. Every donation helps provide creative opportunities for kids across Los Angeles. Help us spread the word about Tinkering Camp and our scholarship campaign. ⭐️
Rediscover Center
We provide makers with the tools, resources, and confidence to engage in creative reuse and self-expression. In addition, we host birthday parties.
Founded in 2004, we combine reuse materials from households and businesses with powerful tools at our two permanent makerspaces and across LA. Creative Reuse Center for Kids and Adults, Tinkering, Building & Create what comes to your imagination! We have summer camps, after-school classes, drop in to Tinkering School LA anytime after 3 pm M-F. We host pop-up cardboard playgrounds at local parks on a regular basis. 🎪 Thank you for attending Puppets & Play last Saturday at The Pit La! We had a blast sharing the stage with the amazing puppeteers at All Fools Puppet Troupe and all the families that attended.
