Freshman Assistant Football Coach ‘82 celebrated matching a 44 Year old FROSH football record with teammates Chris Ramirez ‘82, Ramón Samaniego ‘82 and Bob Smith IV ‘82. LHS Class of ‘26 Finishes 9-0 to win league. Go Cubs!

On August 9th, we tragically lost one of our Cub brothers, Andrew Santana ’09.
Andrew loved his experience at Loyola and truly lived the men for others creed. In the all-too-short time he was with us, he went out and set the world on fire. We’re all still in disbelief that we have lost him so soon at 31 years young.
Andrew’s sisters, family and his closest Loyola classmates and friends have set up a Loyola scholarship in his name.
The scholarship is now live on Loyola’s giving page and we encourage all Cub alumni to consider a gift to honor Andrew’s memory:
