Hmm! Another lost and found project π€
Sixteen blocks made as I led a patchwork skill building course at Purple Stitches Fabric Store a few years ago.
β° Time to make these blocks into a quilt I'm going to join them together using strips of fabric (sashing) to separate them.
Very happy to be revisiting this quilt π
Will you be stitching, crafting and or gardening this Easter weekend?

π€What do I miss most about not being able to get to sewing workshops?
πThat would be the friendly bonds that are quickly forged in a learning environment. Developing skills together, sharing tips and inspiration, all on the way to creating something new. It's a great feeling!βΊοΈ
So good in fact that I have opened The Patchwork Hub at Home as a place where we can create that companionable learning environment sat at our own sewing tables at home.
π₯³And as from today, members of The Hub have access not only to the exclusive online content and messaging but also to our very own members only Facebook Group π₯³
We'd love you to join us as we grow our friendships and skills through the wonderfully diverse and absorbing craft of patchwork-quilting.

π€ This is what happens when craft projects run away with me!
I think the state of my craft room is often a reflection of the creative bit of my brain. Hopefully tidying up the room will bring my thoughts into some order too π
Do you work in creative disarray or need some order to bring out your best?

π He's got the moves! You'll be relieved to know I WON'T be using dancing as my next marketing ploy π
On a serious note, please do take time to browse around your local independent shops.

I've made lots of quilts using fabric scraps from other projects. They are fun to make and children just love them! π
After one of the members of The Patchwork Hub at Home mentioned using her leaders and enders to make patchwork blocks I got to thinking about fabric scraps and how to use them... π€Then I looked at my overflowing scrap bins and knew it was time to share some tips and tutorials in The Hub...
If you'd like to join us, the good news is the doors of The Hub will be reopening very soon. As soon as you join you'll have access to exclusive tips, tutorials, patterns and skill-building projects.
Be sure to subscribe to my emails to keep in touch with all the latest news from The Patchwork Hub at Home β¬οΈ
