TULA Spotlight: LaToya Stroman 🦉🍒
LaToya is someone that you might already know. She is an active member of the entertainment industry and TULA community. She is a docu-series, unscripted, and scripted TV Producer and a filmmaker. She is the founder of Girl Talk Global. She is an advocate and activist and works to bring positive change to the world.
She is always greeting everyone with a smile and her infectious positive energy. And she’s uplifting those around her and helping them realize their full potential. She is involved with Temple and helps incoming students, current students and post grads with career advice and mentorship. She has produced for Married to Medicine, The Bradshaw Bunch, The Real Housewives, Million Dollar Listing and Celebrity Weakest Link.

TULA Spotlight: Josh Fleury 🦉🍒
Josh is a talented comedian and musician who turns his comedy skits into parody songs. He is also a member of UCB Los Angeles where he performs improv on a house team. He formerly was a member of Smosh doing daily comedy YouTube Videos and is in a sketch comedy group called Moon Goon. He played the bass guitar for a recent Team StarKid musical, The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals, and he is a member of the band Jacob The Horse.

TULA Spotlight: Timothy Parker KLN ‘08 🦉🍒
Timothy is an Emmy Award–winning broadcaster and journalist. Before his journey to LA, he worked as a reporter and sports producer in Delaware and Atlanta and has produced content for ESPN and NBC Sports Philadelphia. He earned an Emmy for his work in sports broadcasting and previously covered the Philadelphia Eagles’ first Super Bowl championship. He most recently returned from Super Bowl LX in San Francisco.

TULA Spotlight: Shanae Cole 🦉🍒
No, you’re not seeing double! Shanae Cole is a former Temple Owl who is now an LA-based actress, coordinator and red carpet host (and twin!). She has starred in Grown-ish on Hulu and The Comic Shop on YouTube. She has also interviewed celebs on the red carpet and at special events. Although she only spent a short time as an Owl, she is still a part of our TULA community and is making big waves in the industry!

What is your favorite season in LA?
Temple alumni are doing incredible things in entertainment, arts, and beyond right here in LA, and we love celebrating this creative community during awards season. We also know that seasons in LA are a bit different than seasons back on the east coast. So we want to know, what season do you love the most in LA?

TULA Spotlight: Shaniece Cole, KLN ’13 🦉🍒
Shaniece is an LA-based producer, actor and red carpet correspondent. She has been seen on Netflix, CBS, Hulu and more. She is also a producer for Access Hollywood and Access Daily, and can be seen interviewing celebrities at red carpet events. Her positive and infectious personality makes her stand out from the rest.
She was one of Temple’s 30 under 30 and an alumni from the LA Study Away program. We are proud to call her an LA Owl!

TULA Spotlight: Gregory Kasunich KLN ‘08 🦉🍒
Greg is a gifted director and screenwriter currently making a name for himself in independent cinema. His films and screenplays have received awards and accolades at Sundance, Cannes, Holly Shorts, SXSW and more. Currently two of his projects Heart of Texas and Meeting your Maker are making their rounds in the film festival circuit receiving multiple awards. He has also worked with Netflix, HBO and Dreamwork’s on major projects. We are proud to call him a Temple Owl.

Kaitlin is a talented screenwriter and entertainment writer making waves in media and storytelling. Her most recent project, How To Lose A Popularity Contest, is a high school rom-com, about an underachiever and a type-A overachiever teaming up to win student body president.
