🎬 Premiering “Musings” at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood next week
The film screens Friday, May 29th at 10pm at 2026, one of California’s biggest film festivals, at the legendary in Hollywood. Hearing my music in that iconic space is a dream come true and makes me so proud of the journey. Never give up!
Working on this film was an incredible experience, from recording remotely with friends from different parts of the world to having the team at my home studio creating the sonic landscape together. Huge thank you to and for helping me bring my music to life through their wonderful performances on strings and guitar. Recording with you both was such a joy! 🎻
And what a special day it was having .ono (producer), (director), and Rohan Utagikar (sound designer) at my home studio, recording instruments and building the sonic world of “Musings” together. We spent countless hours creating and having so much fun while doing it.
This is what I love about music and film: the craft, the collaboration, the passion we all bring to tell a story. Huge shoutout to the incredible cast and crew who made this film a reality!
Can’t wait for you all to watch the film next week!🎬✨

🎁 Grateful for 33 years of an amazing life ✨
Yesterday, May 7th, was my 33rd birthday and my 4th year wedding anniversary and I spent it exactly how I wanted: working on music I love, touring the Dolby HQ (thank you .ro for the incredible tour, you rock!), buying books that fill my soul, and ending with the best anniversary dinner and SF Science Museum visit at night with my wife. Four years of marriage to the love of my life. Still can’t believe how lucky I am. 💛 I love you
This past month has been incredible - working on films (one screening at LALIFF at the end of the month that I can’t wait for you to see!), playing jazz nights with amazing musicians, and even composing a piece for my wife and surprising her by performing it at jazz night.
I’m so grateful for everything I’ve experienced these past 33 years, the people I’ve met along the way, the ones who’ve stayed through it all, and the community I have around me now. Grateful for music, for love, for family, and for choosing to be a better human every day.
My wish as I start this new year: in a world where society seems to get further from humanity, I choose to stay present. To show up. To keep growing. 🙏🫶🏼
Here’s to 33. 🎂🎶

🎬 🎶 My music played at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
The same venue where Star Wars, The Avengers, and Oppenheimer premiered. Still pinching myself. 🎞️
This past April, “Trova” screened at the iconic TCL Chinese Theatre as part of the Beverly Hills Film Festival
Hearing my music fill that legendary theater and reuniting with our incredible cast and crew was amazing! This film tells the story of Cuban singer Maria Teresa Vera, and bringing her legacy to life through music has been one of the greatest honors of my career.
Thank you Director for trusting me with this beautiful project 🙏
To everyone who’s supported my journey, this is what it’s all about. The late nights, the challenges, the years of hard work… they all led here. And we’re just getting started. 🎶

“Lady and The Watches” — an animated short written, directed, and produced by the incredibly talented Kelly McCready. ✨
I just wrapped up the original music score for this film and I genuinely could not be more excited for the world to hear it. Kelly, thank you for trusting me with this project and giving me the space to create something truly special — a full jazz score where I also got to record and feature my own saxophone. 🎷
This one is close to my heart. Lady and The Watches will be making its way to festivals this year, and I cannot wait for you all to experience it. Stay tuned for more updates and in the meantime, here’s a little sneak peek of the music! 🎬🎶

Finally able to share this one! 🎬🎶
I composed the music for “Dos de Cabeza, Dos de lengua” last year and now the film is heading to festivals! This comedy had me laughing while writing and I can’t wait for you all to see it (and hear it!) on the big screen. 🎥
Big thank you to Angel for trusting me with this project and bringing me into the team. More behind-the-scenes and music coming your way! 👀✨

Last camping trip of 2025 🌄
Spending Christmas at Valley of Fire ⛰️ with my wife was truly magical. This year felt different, intentionally stepping away from technology and the internet, and fully immersing ourselves in nature.
Being surrounded by these powerful landscapes gave me space to reflect on both the blessings and the challenges of 2025. I feel fulfilled, inspired, and deeply grateful for everything I have and for the people around me. ❤️
Moments of disconnection like this recharge my creativity and remind me how essential rest and presence are to the creative process. I can’t imagine making music without these pauses that fuel the work.
Here we go, 2026, for more nature, more rest, more recharging, and more music to create. ✨

2025 has been a year of growth, life changes, reconnecting with family and friends, and deep creativity.
As this challenging, and at the same time magical, year comes to an end, I’m taking a moment to reflect and to intentionally choose the life I want to keep building in 2026.
A life full of music. This time, music coming from the deepest and most honest parts of my soul, music I’m finally ready to put out into the world and share with you.
This next chapter is different. I want you to be part of it.
Will you come with me on this journey? 👀✨
See you in 2026 🤍
