We're overdue for an update, and first and foremost—thank you. We've had some extraordinary events recently, and while nightlife continues to face challenges across the industry, the Precinct community's continued support has been deeply appreciated. Your encouragement and generosity remind us why this space is so important.

⚖️ Legal Update
The lawsuit is ongoing. Additional claims against us related to an Instagram post and this GoFundMe, including defamation, were resolved in our favor, including a successful Anti-SLAPP ruling. An appeal has been filed, and other claims in the case remain pending. We continue to work closely with counsel to respond appropriately and to address all remaining matters through the legal process.
We remain committed to Precinct—not only as a business, but as a workplace for our employees and a valued community space. We are grateful for the support that has allowed us to continue operating while these matters are addressed.

Looking Ahead
The Precinct Awards 2026 will take place on February 22, with nomination details and programming to be shared via Instagram and our website. This event will also help support ongoing legal and operational expenses because we this legal fight is far from over.
