Hello Parents! My name is Poni, I am a licensed day care owner who has recently opened Little Gnome Nursery, a family home infant play group here in the heart of Highland Park! Little Gnome is a nursery that fosters your children’s curiosity and encourages guided exploration of the natural world. I strive to make the transition between home and day care as gentle as possible! I am currently enrolling 3 infants around 6 months old so that all children can be at a similar developmental stage.
My nursery’s values are centered around keeping your children safe. All toys are made of natural materials, all cribs have an organic mattress from Naturpedic and organic cotton sheets. Every room is also equipped with Blueair Purifiers and all drinking water is filtered. I also put a large emphasis on play based learning, art, music, walks and outings, as well as celebrating your babies individuality!
