Azerbaijan has broken cease fire on innocent civilians in Artsakh! There has been many Attacks in Armenia as well. Due to their actions a war has blown out. Thousands of men are currently at the borders fighting for theirs lives! These actions against Artsakh and Armenia is an act of terrorism! They are breaking many humanitarian violations and innocent people are getting hurt. Please in order for there to be peace there needs to be support from the diaspora and international community!

What you can do to help:

📜📕 Do your historical research on Armenia and Artsakh!
🖊 Sign petitions. Even 1 signature makes a huge impact!

ANCA is recording interview segments for HyeVotes, and is inviting members from the Armenian Student Association to contribute by stating short one-liner messages in Armenian and English about why voting is important for young Armenians, why HyeVotes is important, etc. If you would like to participate, you may join the ANCA at the Glendale Youth Center (211 W Chestnut Street) anytime from 12-4 PM tomorrow, Sunday May 29, 2016!

On Saturday May 7th, Armenian students from all over Southern and Northern California will be traveling to Santa Barbara with the All-ASA for a weekend of volunteering with Katcho's campaign, primarily for canvassing in local neighborhoods. They will meet at the Glendale Vons (561 N Glendale Ave, Glendale, CA 91206) at 9:00 AM on Saturday May 7th to depart for Santa Barbara and will return to Glendale by 6:00 PM. Transportation will be covered - we'll all travel together in a Sprinter van! Food, music, fun, photos, and good times will be provided! Before leaving Glendale, all participants must sign a liability waiver that will be provided.

Our team took a moment to relax last night, after working very hard to create a replica on the Tsitsernakabert monument to display on campus during our annual Silent Protest. This years' protest will be held on Thursday, April 21.

If you are going to be on campus tomorrow, we will be holding an Armenian Barbecue event in front of the U-SU! We will start serving at 11 o'clock.
