almost 4 years ago, I created my first online course. A course to help real estate agents use Instagram to grow their business. ⁣

many of the faces you see in this group joined and we continued to evolve and grow as the social media landscape evolved (anyone remember IGTV 🤣) ⁣

last week, members of OUR agent community - MEMBER’S ONLY got to meet IRL. The amount of tears shed, smiles made, and conversations had has me going into this Thanksgiving week with a heart full of gratitude 💜💜💜⁣

As I was running (ahem jogging/fast walking/instagramming) I began to reflect on what this week means to me. ⁣

I am so grateful to find a job at a company that accepts me for me and has allowed me the opportunity to inspire other agents to shine bright! 🤩🤩 ⁣

I am so looking forward to seeing many friends this week and meeting new ones to connect with! ⁣

15 years ago I looked in the mirror ….⁣⁣
⁣⁣
and I cried my eyes out while saying “I’m gay”⁣⁣ this picture was taken that week.
⁣⁣
the praying every night I wake up the next day and am straight didn’t work, forcing myself to throw away all my broadway musical albums did not work, trying to wear different clothes and hangout with a different group of people - did not work. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I am gay. Those words and the years leading up to that moment were lonely and at times self destructive ⁣
⁣⁣
that began a long journey of self acceptance and ever evolving self-love ⁣⁣
⁣⁣

spending 48 hours last week in my hometown + getting to collaborate and celebrate with 450 + agents was truly something special⁣ 🖤🍾

I got to share the stage with , thank you for all that attended our session on social media. I have been truly blown away and touched by the messages i’ve received after (i’m still working on responding to each and every one of you)⁣

From italian dinners with new and old friends to getting to meet the style icon himself, 🖤 Thank you for the pep talk 🖤 can’t wait for San Diego 🥂

I didn’t always like social media. ⁣
⁣
In fact, after my dad died 10 years ago I deleted my Facebook account for a year. I didn’t reactivate it until I got into real estate and I needed to figure out how to start generating business. ⁣
⁣
Over the years, it was a love/hate relationship. But then I finally started seeing the impact it had on my business and my relationships in general - with my sphere, with local businesses, and with other agents. ⁣
⁣
I can’t think of my life without being social on social media. Yes, it has its flaws but doesn’t everything ?! ⁣
⁣
I also get very anxious public speaking but continue to subject myself to it 😜 I’m stoked to connect with my friends and meet many more in San Diego at the REtreat in November this year and share my journey
