Wait, you thought we were done? Nope, we’re still celebrating our amazing seniors, now official grads!! 🎉

Today’s senior spotlight is the wonderful Natalia! She is a Marketing major and shares that her favorite part of GFLMU was definitely the community. Natalia adds, “Practices and performances were so much fun because you were dancing beside your friends. I also loved that I got to learn more about Mexico’s beautiful culture and gained a deeper appreciation for its diversity of regions. Thank you GFLMU for being my familia ❤️”.

You will be dearly missed, but we are so proud of you!! 🥰

👏🏽 Put those hands together for the marvelous and talented Barbara!! 🤩

Barbara is an Urban Studies and Chicanx/Latinx Studies Double Major. When asked about their favorite thing about GFLMU, they shared, “Through GFLMU I was able to learn about different regions in Mexico and how each style of dancing and music reflects each region’s distinct culture. Being able to learn the dances made me feel connected to my culture in a way that I don’t feel otherwise. It was such a joy to be able to hear the music and try to recreate it with my body.”

You will be dearly missed, but we wish you the absolute best and we know you will do incredible things off the bluff. ❤️❤️
