Join us in Kaplan A56 at 6:00 p.m. tomorrow, March 8th, to hear speaker Justin Low discuss his background and work as Head of Medical Development at Voxel Healthcare! Justin’s background is in clinical medicine with a specialization in radiation oncology. He has been conducting research at CHLA for the improvement of clinical outcomes since January 2018. Along with this, he has developed novel solutions to challenges in radiation oncology ranging from technical to clinical. Voxel Healthcare is a medical imaging technology company and has developed ClickBrain and ClickBrain RT, software platforms that provide clinical decision support. The company also supplies quantitative brain MRI measurements for radiologists, radiation oncologists, and other clinicians.

Why BME?: I joined BME because it provided the perfect opportunity to learn about, network, and connect with other students passionate about the intersection of healthcare and business!

Why BME?: I joined BME because I wanted to find a community that had a passion for both biotech and entrepreneurship and entering a career in that space. I have loved getting to know all of the members and am excited for the new year!

I was most drawn to BME because of the live speaker sessions where we learn about different medical technologies and can network with professionals in the field.

Why BME?: I joined BME to gain a better understanding of the medical entrepreneurial field, and collaborate with people who share similar interests in the field to pursue our interests in medicine and business. As a project coordinator, I am excited to be involved in speaker outreach and connecting with established medical entrepreneurs in the biotechnology industry.

Meet out Finance and Administrative Officer - Kyle Lee!!

Why BME?: I joined BME because it offers a multitude of ways to learn about the intersection between business and healthcare. Specifically, I joined for the medical entrepreneurship related workshops, as well as to learn from established professionals about their business experience and advice. Personally, I have always been interested in medicine and entrepreneurship, so BME provided me the perfect opportunity to merge the two!
