For more than four decades, the LMU Center for Religion and Spirituality has formed leaders who serve at the heart of Los Angeles and beyond. Founded in 1977, the Center is a living expression of LMU’s Catholic, Jesuit mission, and Marymount tradition, reflecting a deep commitment to the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, neighboring dioceses, and diverse communities of faith across the region.

The Center provides transformative theological education and reflection rooted in spirituality, Scripture, community, and a commitment to action. We bridge university-level knowledge with the lived experience of faith, equipping adult learners — ministers, educators, and community leaders — to strengthen their spiritual formation, deepen their theological grounding, and lead with compassion and purpose. Our students bring what they learn directly back to parishes, classrooms, neighborhoods and workplaces, making a tangible impact in their communities.

Están invitados a estudiar y reflexionar sobre la Mariología. Estudiaremos la figura de María de Nazareth desde la teología sistemática, la Sagrada Escritura y la devoción popular. Este certificado ayudará al estudiante a entender el rol de María de Nazareth en la Tradición de la Iglesia y vivir la espiritualidad mariana en su vida personal.
