The studio offers a range of workshops, equipment, glaze chemistry room, visiting artist workshops, pottery wheels, kiln space, and 24-hour studio space.

💚💚 Extremely excited to be hosting a very special 4 week coil building class with Ilis Geronimo- an incredibly talented ceramicist that uses wheel-throwing and coil-building techniques. The majority of her work consists of unglazed stoneware plant pots. Inspired by Central American, Classical Greek and Roman ceramics. Her focus on pottery comes from an interest in improving local ecology, and encouraging people with outdoor space to include plants and create habitat.

💚💚 A dear friend and artist, next week will be the last day to see Maddy Inez’s incredibly thoughtful and amazing solo show- “Nascence” on view at Megan Mulrooney. Maddy Inez Megan Mulrooney

Nascence : refers to the moment an embryonic plant awakens, breaks through its seed, and begins its ascent toward growth.

The color and depth within each piece, reflect the idea that time is intertwined and multidimensional. That a seed and a bloom exist in dependence upon one another.

Within each piece lingers traces of soil, smoke, and sun; artifacts that shape becoming. An ode to the history of colonization and revolution: a ground marked by disruption, resilience, decay, and renewal. These are not just objects but rather breathing creatures that stand tall atop the plinths lathered in soil, ready to bloom.
