🎶 MUSIC WITH MR. JAMES! 🎶

Did you know that every week, music fills the classrooms at Bethlehem?

We are so fortunate to have Mr. James Stevenson, a musician and former Bethlehem parent, as part of our weekly enrichment program! Each week, Mr. James rotates through our classrooms, bringing age-appropriate music lessons directly to our children.

🎼 Children are introduced to the basics of music and musical notes, explore and learn about different instruments, practice rhythm and sound, and—of course—do plenty of singing along!

And no music class would be complete without Mr. James pulling out a few favorites from the “Bethlehem Top 10” 😂—the songs our children request again and again!

Music is such a wonderful way to support language, listening skills, memory, coordination, creativity, and self-expression, all while bringing a whole lot of JOY into the school day.

We love having Mr. James share his talents with our Bethlehem children each week!

When the weather is this hot, the perfect way to end the week is with ice cream sundaes!
Everyone is welcome at our community ice cream social from 5:30 - 7:30 pm.
We’ll also have games for all ages in the courtyard and playground.

🥋 Empowered. Prepared. Stronger Together. 💪

Today, we were grateful to welcome Hiro Martial Arts to our campus for a special self-defense and campus safety training with our staff!

A huge thank you to Shihan and Sensei Marco for sharing their knowledge, experience, and practical skills with our team. We learned valuable techniques to help us feel more confident and prepared while continuing to make the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and entire school community a top priority. ❤️

We are so grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and strengthen our team together. Thank you, Hiro Martial Arts, for investing your time in our staff and helping us keep our campus safe! 🥋💪

A HUGE thank you to all of our amazing Bethlehem families who joined us for our very first **Splish Splash Pizza Bash!** 💦🍕❤️

What a wonderful afternoon filled with laughter, water play, delicious pizza, and so many smiling faces! Seeing our school community come together to celebrate summer and enjoy time with one another was truly a blessing.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, helped set up, cleaned up, and supported this event in any way. Your enthusiasm and encouragement made our first Splish Splash Pizza Bash a fantastic success, and we couldn’t have done it without you!

We are so grateful to be part of such a loving, supportive school family. We hope everyone had as much fun as we did, and we can’t wait to create even more special memories together throughout the year.

As our wonderful town of Granada Hills celebrates its 100th Anniversary, we've loved seeing all of the exciting Centennial events taking place throughout the year. Today, we were delighted to receive delicious Centennial chocolate chip cookies—a sweet surprise that made our day even brighter! 🍪🎉

A special shout-out to the Granada Hills Chamber of Commerce for including Bethlehem in this meaningful celebration. We are so appreciative of your support and partnership.

Congratulations, Granada Hills, on 100 years of community, history, and pride! We are honored to call this amazing town our home and look forward to many more years together.

Like sunlight spilling through classroom windows on a spring morning, your care brightens the lives of our children every single day. You are the steady voice before a big test, the comforting hug after a hard day, the cheering presence at performances, games, and milestones both big and small.

You plant seeds of kindness, courage, and compassion that bloom far beyond what can be seen. In bedtime stories, packed lunches, early mornings, and late-night encouragement, you create the foundation upon which children grow and thrive.

To every mother and maternal figure — whether by birth, choice, family, or love — thank you for the sacrifices you make, the wisdom you share, and the endless ways you show up for the children in your lives.
