Renewed Motherhood

Reflecting on Mother's Day, and choosing compassion.

For all the things my bio mother did and did not do.

This is not to minimize any of the harm she caused me or my siblings.

But I believe we all have a story and I wish someone had protected this little girl when she was young in the ways I believe All children deserve to be protected.

My commitment is to protecting my children and loving them well. Generational cycles end here.
