Welcome to middle school, 6th grade!
Today, our newest middle schoolers and their families got a first look at life on campus—meeting teachers and classmates, exploring their new spaces, getting set up for the year, and, of course, checking out their lockers!
Now, there’s just one thing left to do: start school! We can’t wait to see what this year has in store for you!

Senior year may still be a week away, but the Class of 2027 is already getting a head start! This week, seniors are on campus for our Application Accelerator workshops, dedicated time to update their Common Apps, refine personal statements, begin UC applications and Personal Insight Questions, and start tackling supplemental essays.
They’re also getting some expert perspective along the way: Admission representatives from Syracuse University, Marist University, Occidental College, and UCLA stopped by to share advice and offer feedback on personal statement drafts.
The road to graduation—and beyond—begins here!

Juneteenth is a reminder that freedom announced is not freedom felt and that the distance between declaration and reality is measured in steps taken, in moments shared, in connections made.
At Wildwood School we live in that distance, propelled by a community that calls us forward to stay engaged and to commit to doing better and doing more.
We honor Juneteenth not by declaring that our work is done but by recommitting, as ever, to the listening, learning, action, and reflection that can create the conditions for all to thrive.

From bioelectronics and biomimicry to standing waves and ocean plastics, the middle and upper school Evening of Science offered students an opportunity to showcase a year of scientific exploration, experimentation, and discovery to our community. Through hands-on demonstrations and rotating presentations, attendees got to investigate everything from plant cell plasmolysis and light refraction to magnetic drag, the Magnus Effect, and the Butterfly Pea Test!
