I always knew I could do voices but I didn't realize it was a superpower until I moved to Argentina at 22. I spent my time mimicking the local cadence and the specific Argentine rhythms just for fun until people actually started assuming I was from there. That was the click moment. It wasn't just about being a silly guy with an ear for actors like Jim Carrey anymore 🇦🇷

I realized then that an accent is more than just a sound; it’s a social key. Now when I hear a new voice I’m subconsciously mapping out the vowel shifts and the way words lean into each other to see how they connect to the languages I already know. This origin story is where that "click" first started 🚀

The same alphabet we share across English and Spanish is often the biggest hurdle to clear pronunciation

We see a T and our brain defaults to a lifetime of English habits. But letters are just interpretations of sounds... and sometimes, those interpretations get in our way

That’s why I use Espanglés. It’s a system of spelling manipulation. We take a familiar "anchor" from English, like the word "Today," and use its DNA to unlock the perfect Spanish "Tres."

It’s not about learning a new sound from scratch; it’s about finding the sound you already have and moving it to a new home. 🏠✨
