Here’s a couple clips of how our high school fair went! 🎡
GALS invited 14 LAUSD high schools to set up a table and provide information to our current 7th and 8th grade students.
This is a great step for students to begin looking at options for their future and get all questions answered.

GALS has a partnership with LA Sparks and UCLA Health Body Sound Mind. GALS was recognized on 9/24 at the LA Sparks basketball game, and we were able to bring 100 of our students to the game! 🏀
We are very proud of this partnership as they pour into our GALS community 🫶🏼

Our fearless Executive Director, Vanessa Garza, was in New Orleans last week at the National Charter Schools Conference (NCSC26) representing our school and our girls on a national stage! 🎉

She joined educators and advocates from across the country to discuss the future of public charter schools and participated in a panel that touched on what makes GALS LA so special: a school designed with girls at the center.

We couldn't be more proud. And we know our students are watching and learning what it looks like to lead. 💛

What do water balloon volleyball, dodgeball, and school spirit have in common? They were all major parts of our latest annual GALympic Games! 💜🏐

For nearly a decade, GALS LA students have celebrated the end of the school year through our annual GALympics, a tradition that brings together movement, teamwork, community and fun.

As we close out another successful year, we're proud to celebrate all our students have accomplished and grateful for the memories we've made together.

Check out highlights from the 2026 GALympics below! 🎥⬇️
