For Autism Awareness Month, we’re honored to welcome a truly special piano to Westside Music Conservatory 💙

A Shigeru Kawai SK-5 Grand Piano, beautifully wrapped in “BIG STEP” by artist SATO (in collaboration with Heralbony Co., Ltd.), has stopped by while on tour.

SATO, a Boston-based artist on the autism spectrum, invites us to approach the piano with freedom and joy, letting go of perfection and simply playing.

Experience it in person during the Passacaglia Chamber Music Concert: Music from Movies, TV Shows, and Video Games

The Westside Music Conservatory is proud to host the Italian Opera Lab from March 10–13, 2026! Application Deadline is March 3, 2026.

After the Palisades and Altadena fires, we put out a call to our community for donated sheet music and books for teachers and students in need. Your response was incredible. ❤️ We’ve received thousands of books. We have already donated hundreds to those impacted and still have thousands more.

To continue giving back, the remaining books are now available for purchase:

• Single sheet music: $1
• Method books, collections, and repertoire: $2.50

All proceeds will be donated to Westside Music Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity supporting music education and scholarships for students in our community.
